Since these are family dogs, we focus on good health and temperament, both of which depend greatly on that of the parent dogs. Our breeding dogs are screened and certified for hips and elbows, and well-loved members of our family as well. Our goal is to breed genetically sound pups with a good disposition to ensure that you end up with a healthy, intelligent, loyal family member for many years to come.
The mother is ?Hugo?s Miss Pepperpots,? an AKC 50-pound apricot Standard Poodle who has been OFA health-certified. She is the most devoted, loyal, affectionate family dog, with all the grace, smarts and good temperament typical of her breed?chosen by us because that is exactly what we saw in her mother.
Their father is Charlie, a CKC 55-pound brown and white parti-colored F1B Labradoodle stud (see photo). On his chocolate-Lab side, he comes from a series of highly-intelligent working-dog champions. His photo shows him clipped but his soft, wavy fleece-type coat also grows impressively long. He loves his people!
With their outgoing personality, devotion to their people, and likely no-shed hypoallergenic coats, Labradoodles make great family dogs. No one can absolutely guarantee that their doodle puppies will be hypoallergenic or non-shedding (especially F1 hybrids where one parent is pure Labrador retriever). But our multi-gen pups have that extra layer of poodle genes making them most likely to be non-shedding and hypoallergenic.
